What is Teddy Locks?

Teddy Locks is a sustainable sock company, that puts people & the planet before profit - while still producing the world's softest socks.

Focused on making 'the basics' better we are helping conscious consumers wear their values, while fighting our global climate & waste crises.

 

How are your socks different?

Most brands rely on the manufacturers to source and supply their materials. But not here. 

I engineered all 5 of the recycled yarns that are used to make Teddy Locks - resulting in socks with maximum levels of comfort, performance & sustainability.

To ensure the highest ethical & environmental standards I also built our own supply chain. Partnering with trusted local businesses, I can oversee everything from fiber to finishing. 

But Teddy Locks socks are more than just sustainable - they are personally tested so that each of our collections are luxuriously soft, longer lasting and better for the planet.

Where is Teddy Locks based?

Teddy Locks are designed by me in the UK. I operate the brand from my home in the UK, and personally ship out all your orders.

Without the technology in the UK, Teddy Locks are produced in North Carolina by local family run businesses.

Why does Teddy Locks exist?

To fight our climate and waste crises.

By upcycling and recycling materials into the world's most sustainable socks we are helping to divert materials from landfill, prevent pollution, and reduce carbon emissions.

ORDERS

Can I amend my order or address after I have placed it?

You may email me at hello@teddylocks.com quoting your reference number and I will try to assist you, but it regrettably may not be possible.

 

How much is shipping in the USA?

 

Rates are calculated at checkout and start at $12.70.

 

What about shipping in the UK?

I send out your socks via Royal Mail. Shipping is FREE on all orders over £25

 

Do you ship globally?

Yes we do. International shipping rates are automatically calculated based on best available rates. 

Any customs duties for international shipments are the responsibility of the customer and are charged separately - not by Teddy Locks. 

 

How can I pay for my order?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. We do not store any of your card details. 

The total amount (price of order + shipping + applicable sales tax) will be withdrawn from your account when the order is completed and approved. 

 

When can I expect to receive my order?

Please allow for 2 working days for your order to be processed and 1-3 business days for the Royal mail to deliver your socks. 

Please allow up to 21 working days for Global orders.

 

Can I recycle the shipping and packaging?

Yes! All of the shipping and packaging materials are made from 100% recycled material and I would love to keep them out of landfill.

All of the stickers, tissue paper, tags, envelopes, mailers and boxes can go in your paper recycling. 

I have chosen to use paper based materials for all of our packaging because it is the most readily recycled material.

 

Can I return or exchange my items?

If you aren't happy, neither am I. That is why I offer full refunds on items returned to me within 15days of receipt. 

All items must be returned unused with labels and packaging intact. Please note I cannot reimburse the original shipping charges, and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. I can not take responsibility for any items lost during the return shipping.

Any refunds made will be processed back to the original payment method.

SOCKS

What sizes are your socks available in?

All of our socks are unisex. We make styles in both S-M and M-L sizing. 

S-M fits UK shoe sizes 3-7

M-L fits UK shoe sizes 8-12

 

How should I care for my socks?

For the planet, I recommend that all of our socks are washed cool, 30°C/86°F and hung dry. But, they can handle the heat and the dryer if they must.

You may also like to consider using soap nuts and a fibre catcher.
