What is Teddy Locks?

Teddy Locks is a sustainable fashion brand putting the planet and people before profit. Focused on making 'the basics' better we are helping conscious consumers share their values, while supporting initiatives that are fighting our global climate and waste crises.

Where is Teddy Locks based?

Teddy Locks was founded in New York City where it operates, while the majority of our production is carried out in North Carolina. 

 

Why does Teddy Locks exist?

To make the world's most sustainable socks.

Made ethically in the USA from eco-friendly materials we are helping individuals lower their footprint.

Designed as collections, and not pairs, our socks stay on your feet and avoid landfill for longer.

 

How are your socks different?

Most socks are knitted overseas, where brands rely on the manufacturers to source and supply their materials. But not us. 

To ensure the highest ethical and environmental standards we have built our own supply chain. Partnering with trusted local businesses we oversee everything from fibre to finishing. 

But our socks are more than just sustainable - we have engineered all of our own yarns, developed their structure, shape and design and personally tested each of our collections to ensure that they are also luxuriously soft, high performing and long lasting.

ORDERS

Can I amend my order or address after I have placed it?

We aim to process each order within 15minutes of receiving it. You may email us at hello@teddylocks.com quoting your reference number and we will try to assist you, but it regrettably may not be possible.

 

How much is shipping?

Free shipping is available for all orders over $50 within the domestic USA. All other shipping rates are automatically calculated based on the order being placed.

 

How can I pay for my order?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. We do not store any of your card details. 

The total amount (price of order + shipping + applicable sales tax) will be withdrawn from your account when the order is completed and approved. 

 

When can I expect to receive my order?

We ship within the domestic USA with USPS First Class. Once your order has been processed you should expect to receive your package within 1-3 business days. 

 

Can I recycle the shipping and packaging?

Yes! All of our shipping and packaging materials are made from 100% recycled material and we would love to keep them out of landfill.

All of our stickers, tissue paper, tags, envelopes, mailers and boxes can go in your paper recycling. 

We have chosen to use paper based materials for all of our packaging because it is the most readily recycled material.

 

Can I return or exchange my items?

If you aren't happy, we aren't happy. That is why we offer full refunds on items returned to us within 15days of receipt. 

All items must be returned unused with labels and packaging intact. Please note we can not reimburse the original shipping charges, and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We do not take responsibility for any items lost during the return shipping.

Any refunds made by us will be processed back to the original payment method.


SOCKS

What sizes are your socks available in?

Both our dress socks and our casual socks are unisex and available in sizes S-M and M-L. 

S-M fits shoe sizes 5-10

M-L fits shoe sizes 8-13

Imperial and Dawn collections are available in size S-M

Royal and Midnight collections are available in size M-L

 

How should I care for my socks?

We recommend that all of our socks are washed cool, 30°C/86°F and hung dry to help maintain a long lifespan.

You may also like to consider using soap nuts and a microfibre catcher in your laundry.
