From fiber to finishing our products have been designed and produced with people and the planet in mind.
Current rates of global production mean that earth's natural resources are running out and our vital ecosystems are being destroyed. So, instead of relying on 'new' materials for our products we are focused on using materials already in circulation. This means that the primary fibers we use, like Recycled Cotton and Recycled Polyester, in our socks and t-shirts are created from waste.
By repurposing these materials we avoid the need for land, livestock, crops and fertilizers, while simultaneously reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfill.
Keeping our footprint low, also depends on how we work with these materials. That's why we use circular knitting machines that don't produce pattern off-cuts, and instead knit each sock as a single piece. Any waste yarn that is generated is collected and recycled, while any socks not suitable for sale are donated locally.
Our commitment to repurposing and reusing materials transcends the entire business. That's why all of our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and is fully recyclable – including our tissue paper, stickers, shipping labels, envelopes and mailers.
A perfectly sustainable world is what we dream of, which is why strive to stay on top of new innovations and evolve with the latest technologies. For more information on the materials we use and the people we work with explore the Sustainability menu.
