OUR STORY
NOT JUST SOCKS.
Hi, I'm Sam.
I set up Teddy Locks to turn waste into want.
Because I haven't always made socks - I used to make TV.
As a wildlife TV producer I got to travel to jungles, up mountains & to remote islands. But no matter how far away I was there was one thing that was still always there - single use plastic.
So, determined to fight the global waste crisis I built the most sustainable sock company possible.
At Teddy Locks we focus on using materials already in circulation, work with local, family run businesses & create our socks as sets - so that when you lose a sock, another doesn't get tossed in the trash!
Teddy Locks are more than socks. They are socks diverting plastic from our oceans, reducing landfill, preserving natural resources, fighting climate change & sparking conversations about sustainability.
They are luxuriously soft socks - so soft you won't believe they are TRASH!
Fight the war on waste with me!
OUR FOOTPRINT
PEOPLE + PLANET > PROFIT
Current rates of global production are unsustainable.
So, we avoid 'new' materials,
& instead knit with 'waste'.
Learn more about the materials we use here.
We knit on circular, green certified machines,
producing each sock as a single piece.
We design our socks as sets
- to prevent lonely unmatched socks being sent to landfill.
Use only 100% recycled & recyclable packaging*
– tissue paper, stickers, shipping labels, envelopes, mailers... everything.
*Made in the USA.
Our entire supply chain is in North Carolina,
& made up of small, local family businesses.

We donate to local organisations & shelters.
